Manipur Agriculture Department Recruitment Sep 2023: The Directorate of Agriculture, Government of Manipur has invited application from the eligible candidates in the prescribed Form for contractual appointment of different categories of posts under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme of National Mission on Edible Oils-Oil Palm (NMEO-OP), Manipur to be posted at State Head Quarter and Jiribam District Head Qtr. Note:
- One candidate can apply only one post
- For the posts at District H.Q. (Jiribam), preference will be given to the residents of Jiribam District.
Age Limit for Applicants:
- General Category: 35 years
- OBC: 38 years
- Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe: 40 years
- Hearing impaired. Visually impaired and orthopedically candidates belonging to the General category: 45 years
- Hearing impaired, Visually impaired and orthopedically candidates belonging to OBC: 48 years
- Hearing impaired. Visually impaired and orthopedically belonging to SC & ST: 50 years
Educational Qualification:
For Group IV Posts:
1. Technical Assistant (TA):
- Bachelor degree in Agriculture & Knowledge of computer essential.
- Person with M.Sc Agri. will be given preference.
2. Office Assistant (OA):
- Graduate in any discipline preferably in Science stream with Computer knowledge.
- Experienced person convergent in co- coordinating Directorate, Secretariat and Line departments will be given preference.
3. Grade IV Staff:
- Should have passed Class XI/ HSLCE from a recognized Board
For Group III Posts:
1. Technical Assistant (TA):
- Bachelor degree in Agriculture with computer skills. In case of non-availability
of agriculture graduates, candidates with Bachelor degree in Sciences may be considered. - Person with M.Sc Agri. will he given preference.
2. Data Entry Operator (DEO):
- Graduate with six months computer course. Well versed with MS Word, Excel, PPT and Access G1S etc.
- Minimum 2 Year experience in relevant field.
Emolument per month:
For Group IV Posts:
1. Technical Assistant (TA):
- Rs. 14,600 + Rs. 25,400(PBH) = Rs. 40,000/-
2. Office Assistant (OA):
- Rs. 8,000/-
3. Grade IV Staff:
- Rs. 6,750/-
For Group III Posts:
1. Technical Assistant (TA):
- Rs. 12,750 + Rs. 22,250 (PBH) = Rs. 35,000/-
2. Data Entry Operator (DEO):
- Rs. 9,950 + Rs. 15,050(PBH) = Rs. 25,000/-
Mode of Selection:
- Based on the recruitment examination.
Note: There will be no Viva-voce/ Interview of the candidates.
Exam Pattern of the recruitment: (Manipur Agriculture Department Recruitment)
1. For Group IV Posts: (Total 100 marks and 100 Questions)
- General Intelligence and Reasoning: Total 25 marks and 25 Questions.
- General Knowledge: Total 25 marks and 25 Questions.
- (a) Technical Knowledge of the TAs on Oil Palm and General Agriculture.
(b) Technical knowledge for DEOs and OA will be tested in an authorised Government Institute: Total 25 marks and 25 Questions - English Language: Total 25 marks and 25 Questions.
2. Group III Posts: (Total 100 marks and 100 Questions)
- General Knowledge: Total 50 marks and 50 Questions.
- Basic Mathematics: Total 25 marks and 25 Questions.
- English Language: Total 25 marks and 25 Questions.
