Details of the Recruitment:
Name of Post: (Total No. of Posts)
- Professor of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics: 01 Post (UR)
- Assistant Professor of Surgery: 01 Post (SC)
- Assistant Professor of Otorhinolaryngology: O1 Post (UR)
Upper age limit:
- Not exceeding 50 (Fifty) years for Professor and 45 (Forty five) years for Asst. Professor of Surgery and Otorhinolaryngology.
- Upper age limit shall be determined as on the last date of submission of the application form i.e. 22th July, 2025.
Note:
- Age relaxation applicable as per Government rule.
Educational Qualification & Experience:
For Professor of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics:
Educational Qualification:
- A qualification included in Part I and Part II of Schedule to the Dentist Act, 1948 (16 of 1948)
- A Post Graduate Degree in Dental Surgery in the concerned subject from a recognized institute / university.
- Registered with a Dental Council.
Teaching experience:
- 5 (five) years teaching experience in the specialty as Associate Professor / Reader in a Dental College after requisite Post Graduate qualification.
Publication Points:
- Total publication points required is 30 (thirty) marks.
For Assistant Professor of Surgery:
Qualification:
- M.S. (Surgery)/ M.S. (General Surgery).
Teaching/ Research Experience:
- Requisite recognized postgraduate qualification in the subject.
- Three years teaching experience in the subject in a recognized Medical College as Resident /Registrar /Demonstrator/ Tutor.
For Assistant Professor of Otorhinolaryngology:
Qualification:
- M.S. (Otorhinolaryngology)
Teaching/ Research Experience:
- Requisite recognized postgraduate qualification in the subject.
- Three years teaching experience in the subject in a recognized Medical College as Resident /Registrar /Demonstrator/ Tutor.
Pay Scale:
For Professor of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics:
- Pay Level- 14 of Cell 1 of 7th CPC
For Assistant Professor of Surgery:
- Pay Level-11 of Cell 4 of 7th CPC
For Assistant Professor of Otorhinolaryngology:
- Pay Level-11 of Cell 4 of 7th CPC

Application Fees:
- A non-refundable application fee of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One thousand only) shall be paid through online mode.
- Application fee is exempted for PwD candidates.
- Application fee, once remitted, shall not be refunded, unless the recruitment process is cancelled.
Note:
- Applications without the prescribed fees would not be considered and will be summarily rejected.
- Candidates must upload the self-attested documents/certificates in support of all the claims made by them in the applications i.e. date of birth certificate, the original educational qualifications certificates (provisional certificate older than 1 year from the last date of submission of application form will not be accepted), experience, research & publication works etc. However, incomplete application (s) will be summarily rejected.
