RIMS Imphal Special Recruitment Drive 2024: The Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, RIMS Imphal has invited applications from eligible PwD candidates for Special Recruitment Drive for filling up of the following position reserved vacancies for the persons with Disabilities. Details of the recruitment are as follows:

Details of the Recruitment:

Name of Post: (Total No. of Post)

  • Nursing Officer: 02 Posts

Age Limit:

  • Not exceeding 30 Years (Relaxable for Government servants up to 5 years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Government)

RESERVATIONS & AGE RELAXATION:

  • Reservation for SC/ ST/ OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/ Persons with Disabilities (PWD) (degree of disability 40% or above) will be as per the Govt. Norms and Directives.
  • The upper age limit is relaxable by 10 years for PWD-General, 13 years for PWD-OBC and 15 years for PWD-SC/ST candidates.
  • Candidates applying under any of the reserved category viz. SC/ST/OBC will be considered, subject to submission of valid Caste certificate, in the prescribed format, issued by the competent authority.
  • Cut-off date to determine eligibility in terms of the age of candidates will be the last date for submission of applications i.e. 29th June, 2024.

Essential Qualification:

  • B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing/ B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/ State Nursing Council recognized Institute/ University.
    Or
    B.Sc. (Post-certificate) or equivalent such as B.Sc. Nursing (Post Basic) from an Indian Nursing Council/ State Nursing
    Council recognized Institute/ University.
    Or
    Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from an Indian Nursing Council/ State Nursing Council recognized Institute/Board or
    Council with 2 years’ experience in minimum 50 bedded Hospital after acquiring the educational qualification.
  • Should be registered as Nurses & Midwife with the Indian Nursing Council / State Nursing Council.

Pay Scale:

  • Level -7 of Pay Matrix

Mode of Selection:

  • Based on recruitment examination

Scheme of examination & Syllabus:-

The written test will be MCQs of 120 marks for 2:30 hrs (150 minutes):

  • 70 MCQs related to the syllabus of nursing courses being taught at the essential
    qualification level;
  • 30 MCQs related to case scenario-based questions for testing nursing skills competency;
  • 20 MCQs on General Knowledge & Aptitude.

Note:
The questions will be set in English language

The qualifying marks for Written Examination will be as follows:

  • Eligible/ suitable candidates are need to submit their applications in the prescribed format attached herewith, to the Director, RIMS, Imphal, on or before Saturday, the 29th June, 2024 through the Receipt & Issue Section of RIMS, Imphal, or e-mail at rims.imphaI@gov.in along with attested copies of certificates & testimonials and two copies of recent passport-size photographs (to be scanned in color in case the application is submitted through email).
