- Junior Consultant Epidemiologist: 01 Post
Age Limit: Not exceeding 45 years of age.
Duration of the Appointment:
- 1(one)Year or till the programmes continues.
Educational Qualification: (RIMS Imphal Recruitment September 2023)
Essential Qualification:
- Bachelor Degree in the Medical Sciences (MBBS /BAMS/ BIIMS) or with similar Degree with Post-Graduation
[Degree/ Diploma/ Programme) in Public Health or Community Medicine/ Epidemiologist/ Health Care Management/ Health Administration/ Population Science.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Minimum 3(three) years experience in Disease Surveillance/ Public Health Management/ Public Health Epidemiology/ Public Health Research.
- Experience in NACP at National/ State Level Preferred.
- Working knowledge in Biostatistics/ Statistical Packages(Epi, info/ SPSS etc.), Microsoft Office.
- Publication in peer reviewed journal.
Job Responsibility:
- Give Technical support to SACS of the 5 States (Arunachai Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura) under RI-RIMS.
- Attend all National Level meetings, trainings, workshops etc. organized by NACO and other nodal institutes.
- Conduct site validation of new sentinel sites for HIV Sentinel Surveillance.
- Conduct supervisory visits to 5 States (Arunachai Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura) under RI-RIMS.
- Supervise State Level trainings and meetings organized by the 5 States of RI-RIMS.
- Supervise and monitor sentinel field work activities.
- Assist in co-ordinating HIV related programme activities taken up by NACO.
- Assist in organizing regional level meetings, trainings, workshops etc.
Monthly Emoluments: Rs.70,000/-
Mode of Selection: Based on Interview.
