Upper age limit:

45 years for Assistant Professor on the last date of receipt of application. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for Govt. servants and by 5 years for ST /SC & 3 years for OBC candidates while applying the post reserved for them. No age relaxation will be provided for SC /ST /OBC who apply in the UR category.

Educational Qualification & Experience

1. For Assistant Professor of Community Medicine:

M.D. (Social & Preventive Medicine)/ M.D. (Community Medicine).

Teaching / Research Experience:

Requisite recognized postgraduate qualification in the subject.
Three years teaching experience in the subject in or recognized Medical College as Resident /Registrar /Demonstrator/ Tutor

2. For Assistant Professor of Surgery:

M.S. (Surgery)/ M.S. (General Surgery).

Teaching / Research Experience :

Requisite recognized postgraduate qualification in the subject.
Three years teaching experience in the subject in or recognized Medical College as Resident /Registrar /Demonstrator/ Tutor.

3. For Assistant Professor of Biochemistry:

M.D. (Biochemistry)/ MBBS with M.Sc (Med. Biochemistry) / M.Sc. (Med. Biochemistry) with Ph.D. (Med. Biochemistry) /M.Sc (Med. Biochemistry) with D.Sc (Med. Biochemistry).

Teaching / Research Experience:

Requisite recognized postgraduate qualification in the subject.
Three years teaching experience in the subject in or recognized Medical College as Resident /Registrar /Demonstrator/ Tutor.

4. For Assistant Professor of Obt & Gynae:

M.D.(Obt & Gynae) / M.S.(Obt & Gynae)

Teaching / Research Experience :

Requisite recognized postgraduate qualification in the subject.

5. For Assistant Professor of Anatomy:

Pay Scale:

For Assistant Professor of Community Medicine: Rs. 15600-39100/- + G.P. Rs 7000/- (Pre Revised)
For Assistant Professor of Surgery: Rs. 15600-39100/- + G.P. Rs 7000/- (Pre Revised)
For Assistant Professor of Biochemistry: Rs. 15600-39100/- + G.P. Rs 7000/- (Pre Revised)
For Assistant Professor of Obt & Gynae: Rs. 15600-39100/- + G.P. Rs 7000/- (Pre Revised)
For Assistant Professor of Anatomy: Rs. 15600-39100/- + G.P. Rs 7000/- (Pre Revised)
