RIMS Imphal Interview & Typing Test Notice: According to the official notification released by Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, RIMS Imphal it has been informed to the eligible candidates for the recruitment to the post of Research Scientist I & Data Entry Operator for the Project “Hospital Based Cancer Registry (HBCR)” Department of Pathology, RIMS, that the personal interview and typing test will be held as per the schedule given below:

Interview/Personal Interaction” for the posts of Research Scientist-I will be held for the eligible Candidates by the Selection Committee in the Office Chamber of the Director, RIMS, Imphal, on Wednesday, the 16th of July, 2025 at 11 a.m.
The eligible Candidates are, therefore, requested to be present at the above-mentioned venue by 10.30 a.m. on the said date, along with the original certificates and testimonials before the Selection Board.

Typing test will be held on 16th July, 2025 at 10.00 am in the I.T Cell, RIMS Imphal for the appointment of Data Entry Operator for the project “Hospital Based Cancer Registry (HBCR)” Department of Pathology, RIMS, Imphal.
Note:
- The cut off speed will be 30 wpm (net) to be eligible for appearing in the interaction session. Candidates should carry Aadhar Card or any proof of identification and other certificate/ testimony for verification.
- Eligible candidates has been informed to reach the above mentioned venue by 9.30 am on the said date for taking part in the typing test for the post of Data Entry Operator.

Upper Age Limit:
For Data Entry Operator (Grade A):
- 28 years.
For Research Scientist-1 (Medical):
- 38 years.
Educational qualification:
For Research Scientist-1 (Medical):
Essential Qualification:
- MBBS Degree recognized by MCI from a recognized University.
Desirable:
- MD/ MS Degree in Medicine/ Surgery/ P&SM, Pathology/ Radiotherapy/ Biochemistry/ Pharmacology from a recognized university.
- Additional Post-Doctoral Research/ Teaching experience in the relevant subjects in recognized institute.
- Knowledge of computer applications.
Job requirements:
- To develop programme for research and training, plan & undertake research on different aspects of cancer to assist the Principal Investigator and to work with other scientists in conducting research in thrust areas.
For Data Entry Operator (Grade A):
- Intermediate or 12th pass from recognized board. A Speed test for 30 words per minutes in English or not less than 150 key depressions per hours through speed test on computer.
