Details of the Recruitment:

Name of Post: (Total No. of Posts)

  • JRF: 01 post

Name of Project:

  • Mechanical properties and microstructural evaluation of underwater friction stir additive manufactured AA6082 Aluminum alloy.

Educational Qualification:

1. Essential:

  • B.E./B. Tech (Mechanical/ Manufacturing/ Material Science and Metallurgy) with 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA and above preferably with GATE qualified. Or, M.E./M.Tech in Manufacturing/ Machine Design/(CAD/CAM)/Robotics & Automation with 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA with GATE/without GATE Score.

2. Desirable:

  • Experience in handling projects (may be in B. Tech final year project) related to Manufacturing, Machine Design/(CAD /CAM)/ Robotics & Automation, FE modelling and simulation, etc. Software- SolidWorks, FEA software, ORIGIN, MATLAB etc

Project Duration:

  • 12 months

Fellowship:

  • For M.Tech/ B. Tech, Rs:9,000/-(consolidated).
