Age Limit:
- The candidate shall be not less than 18 years (21 years in case of Driver) and not more than 38 years as on 1st of February, 2024, relaxable up to 3 years for OBC category and 5 years for SC/ ST category for all posts.
Eligibility conditions:
- The candidate shall be a citizen of India
- The candidate shall be able to speak Manipuri or any of the notified Schedule Tribe dialects of Manipur

Educational Qualification:
1. For Inspector of Excise:
Essential Qualification:
- Degree of a recognized University
- Standard and healthy physical condition with at least 162 cm height and 79 cm on expansion (for hill people minimum height 160 cm).
- Knowledge of Manipuri
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Hindi
- “B” Certificate of NCC
2. For Sub- Inspector of Excise:
Essential Qualification:
- Graduate of a recognized University
- Strong and healthy in physique with at least 5’4″ height and 31″ chest measurement: 33″ on expansion (For hill people minimum height 5’3″).
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Hindi
- “B” Certificate of NCC
3. For Constable (Male):
Essential Qualification:
- Class XII/ HSSLC passed
- Strong and healthy in physique with at least (162.1/2cm) 5’4″ height 31″ (79) chest
measurement: 33″ (“4) and expansion: (for hill people minimum height (5’3”) (160 cm)
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Hindi
4. For LDC:
Essential Qualification:
- Graduate who has completed Course on CCC (IDOS +Window + MS Office + Multimedia + Internet) of
a Central/ State recoqnized Institute
5. For Driver:
- Essential Qualification:
Matriculate/ Equivalent from any recognized Board/ Institution. - Driving License (Light Motor Vehicle) from a State Licensing authority with 3 years’ experience in driving
Consolidated Remuneration:
- Inspector of Excise: Rs. 17,700/-
- Sub- Inspector of Excise: Rs. 12,750/-
