Exam Pattern: (Manipur Primary Teacher Recruitment)
The scheme of examination for engagement of 1000 Primary Teachers on contract basis will be as follow:
- The written test would consist of 1 (One) paper of 100 nos. of Multiple-Choice Type
- Questions each carrying 1 mark for correct answer with a total of 100 marks.
- The duration of the test will be 3 (three) hours.
- There would be no negative marks for incorrect answers or questions not attempted

Post Name: (No. of posts)
- Primary Teacher: 1000 Posts
Essential Qualification:
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
Or
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
Or
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
Or
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education).
Or
Graduation and two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
Or
Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)
Or
Postgraduation with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
- Pass in Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), to be conducted by the appropriate Government in accordance with the guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
